Who'd a Thought?

Weeks have come and gone and my son never ceases to amaze and amuse me. I've been told time and time again to cherish every moment because they grow up so fast, but you never know how true it is until you're living it.
My little man is now 9 weeks 3 days. At his 2 month well baby check up on monday he weighed in at 9 pounds 8 ounces and is 22 inches long. His weight and head circumference are in the 35th percentile and his length is 25th; he's a very proportional baby! At that appointment he received his DTaP and Hib vaccines. We decided to decline the Rotavirus vaccine, because honestly, the stomach flu is no big deal at all. Diarrhea and vomiting... woopdy do, that's what happens when you have a child.
Development wise, he is right on track. He smiles all the time, in response to a stimulus and spontaneously. His favorite thing to smile at right now is... himself! He absolutely loves to look at pictures of himself lol. He's also starting to coo more and even giggle; it's so cute! We're having better success with tummy time now because he doesn't fall asleep during it. He is able to control his head really well now and can even prop himself up on his arms for a few seconds! I'm trying to get a picture of him doing that but it's not so easy.
During Gunnar's hospitalization, he wasn't on any kind of schedule, so the 4 hour feeding schedule that I had started working on just a week prior went out the window. Since then I didn't try to force any routine on him because I just wanted to make sure he was eating enough and gaining weight. After his appointment on Monday I decided to try and start him on a routine again since I knew everything was going well. Let me take you through a day in the life of Gunnar (and mommy):
